Our country has bilateral cooperation agreements signed at intergovernmental or interinstitutional level with various countries in the field of science and technology. Within the framework of these agreements, joint research projects are supported and monitored under the coordination of TÜBİTAK, and financial support is provided for activities such as joint scientific meetings, expert exchanges, study visits, etc. In this context, applications can be made to Bilateral Cooperation Programs that are open to continuous application or are invited.

Our country is involved in various European research programs such as COST (European Cooperation in Scientific and Technical Research), ESA (European Space Agency) and EMBC (European Molecular Biology Conference); It actively participates in the activities of regional organizations such as BSEC (Black Sea Economic Cooperation) and ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization) and international organizations such as NATO, OECD and UNESCO.

The participation of Turkish scientists in relevant events organized by these organizations is supported or monitored by TÜBİTAK.
