Message from the Dean

​While the Departments of Architecture and Interior Architecture was at first within the Faculty of Engineering of Haliç University in 2000, our Faculty have started to admit students under the name of Faculty of Architecture in April 19, 2006 pursuant to the Council of Ministers' Decision No. 10372. Now the Faculty continues to provide education with three Departments including Architecture, Interior Architecture and Industrial Product Design.

The vision of our Faculty is to be an academic unit, which educates investigative, enterprising, solution-oriented and open-minded individuals, produces high added-value in regard to the codes of conduct for the scientific, technological, artistic and cultural development of society and, has a voice in both national and international arenas.

Keeping this vision in mind, we aim to be one of the most prominent Architecture Faculties of Turkey, which raises experts in the field through the instrument of academic education and scientific researches with the concious of the deep-rooted history and cultural heritage symbolized by the the Golden Chain of the Golden Horn.

The objective of the Faculty of Architecture is to give an attentive and unique education model raising competent intellectual professionals, who can solve crucial design-related problems and be respectful of the national and local realities.

Moreover, our goal is to educate architectures, interior architectures and industrial product designers capable of producing effective solutions for the current issues in cities by building applicable projects sensitive to the cultural heritage.

The projects prepared within our Faculty in accordance with our vision and objectives are maintained with great excitement and efforts. Thanks to the diligent studies and contributions of our academicians, we can take quick steps in our projects. We continue our studies with the intent of providing qualified education for our new studies.
