Prof. Dr. Kazım SARI

Prof. Dr. Kazım Sarı is a faculty member in the field of Industrial Engineering with experience in university governance. His academic interests include supply chain and operations management, sustainability, green supply chains, and decision support and analytical approaches.

He has published scientific studies in internationally indexed journals and has been actively involved in graduate-level education.

In addition to his academic work, Prof. Dr. Sarı has undertaken various administrative responsibilities in higher education, with experience in quality assurance, accreditation processes, research and publication policies and institutional performance and strategic planning.

Prof. Dr. Kazım Sarı contributes to the education, research and quality vision of Haliç University through his academic and administrative expertise.

Prof. Dr. N. Öykü İYİGÜN

Prof. Dr. Öykü İyigün served for 17 years at the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul Ticaret University, where she undertook various academic and administrative responsibilities. During this period, she held the positions of Head of the Management Information Systems Department, Director of the Leadership and Entrepreneurship Research and Application Center and Vice Director of the Institute of Foreign Trade.

Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, strategic management, leadership, ethics, sustainability, digitalization and artificial intelligence. She has published numerous scholarly works at both national and international levels in these fields.

As part of her international academic experience, she served as a visiting professor at Loyola Marymount University (USA) during the Spring 2017–2018 semester, where she completed her book on social entrepreneurship and taught International Business courses. During the pandemic, she delivered Management courses remotely at the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak (India). She has also completed certificate programs in entrepreneurship, negotiation and international management at Babson College, Harvard University and Tufts University in the United States.

In addition to her academic work, she has played an active role in civil society and youth entrepreneurship initiatives. She held national and international leadership positions within AIESEC and JCI and received international achievement awards. She also served on the Board of the Istanbul Young Entrepreneurs Council of TOBB and acted for many years as the academic advisor to university entrepreneurship student organizations. She has taught as a visiting lecturer at Ibn Haldun University and Boğaziçi University.

In 2017, she was honored with the “Young Academician Contributing to the Economy of the Year” award at the TÜRGEB Awards organized by Genç MÜSİAD. She currently serves as a member of the Academic Advisory Board of TOSYÖV ALEN, the Advisory Board of the Center for Ethics Studies at Ibn Haldun University and the Advisory Board of the Artificial Intelligence Policy Association.

Drawing on her academic expertise and administrative experience, she continues to contribute to quality-driven growth in higher education, internationalization strategies, the strengthening of entrepreneurship ecosystems and the integration of digital transformation into institutional strategy.
