​​​The results of "Impact Rankings 2023", the ranking index among world universities published by the UK-based higher education rating agency Times Higher Education (THE), have been announced.

'Impact Ranking' evaluates universities around the world on all kinds of social, economic and environmental practices they carry out for the success of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and makes visible the added value that universities provide to the world beyond research and education from an international perspective. Haliç University, which has been included in the ranking in previous years, has made significant progress in the ranking this year as well. In the evaluation, which includes many universities from around the world, our university maintained its place among the foundation universities in Turkey and succeeded in ranking in different categories where universities are evaluated in terms of their contribution to society.

Top 200 in the "Reducing Inequalities" category,
 
Top 600-800 in the "Affordable and Clean Energy" category,
 
Top 600-800 in the "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions" category,
 
Top 600-800 in the "Responsible Consumption and Production" category,
 
Top 600-800 in the "Sustainable Cities and Communities" category,
 
Top 600-800 in the "Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure" category,
 
Top 600-800 in the "Decent Work and Economic Growth" category,
 
Finally, 601st in the "Clean Water and Sanitation" category.
