Our university and the Turkish Knitwear Industrialists Association (TRİSAD) have updated their existing collaboration protocol. The new protocol was signed during a ceremony held at our university, attended by our Rector, Prof. Nihat İnanç, and the President of TRİSAD, Mustafa Balkuv.
As part of the protocol, it was decided to renew the knitting machine allocated to the Department of Textile and Fashion Design at Haliç University. With this updated collaboration, the aim is to significantly enhance practical training opportunities for students, enabling them to graduate with a deeper integration into the industry.
The signing ceremony was attended by TRİSAD board members, administrators, and faculty members from the Faculty of Fine Arts. The new knitting machine will provide students with the opportunity to remain informed about the latest technological developments and produce according to industry standards, thereby enhancing their practical skills.
Moreover, through TRİSAD seminars and trainer trainings, students will have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the sector and innovative production methods. In this way, they will be able to interact directly with industry professionals and make a strong start to their careers.
