The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Symposium with Current Developments, organized by the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, was held in the Small Conference Hall. The symposium, consisting of four sessions, began with a moment of silence followed by the National Anthem.
Academics from various universities participated in the symposium. The opening speech was delivered by Prof. İrfan Papila, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences. In his speech, Prof. Papila emphasized the importance of scientific events, stating, "Such events help strengthen your scientific contributions and preparation for healthcare services. This process is not only a sharing of knowledge but also a product of collaboration and collective thinking. We believe that with your contributions, we will make significant strides in this field."
Following Prof. Papila, Assoc. Prof. Seda Saka, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, took the floor. Assoc. Prof. Saka highlighted the importance of the symposium, stating, "Today, we have gathered here with distinguished speakers who are experts in their field. Our aim is to thoroughly address, discuss, and ensure a better understanding of the latest developments in the field of pulmonary rehabilitation."
Throughout the four sessions, academics shared valuable insights into current practices in the field, providing a beneficial and educational environment for all participants. At the end of the event, certificates of participation were presented to the speakers, and gratitude was expressed to all participating academics, students, and guests.
