You have taken your first step towards becoming physician by making one of the most important decisions that will change the way of your life. Being a physician, being a healer, has always been associated with divine powers since the earliest times of history and has always been evaluated differently from other professional groups. Even in the modern world, physicians are positioned as influential, exemplary, socially responsible and even guiding people in societies not only in solving health-related problems but also with their rich cultural background and social attitudes.
We are pleased to be guide and support you to put into practice the education of this very important profession under the roof of Haliç University.
Haliç University Faculty of Medicine welcomed its first Turkish medical students in the 2017-18 Academic Year. In addition, it is a young and dynamic medical faculty with its valuable faculty members and research assistants who offer the opportunity of undergradute transfer and vertical transfer between faculties eaisly with its integrated system by starting the English medicine program from the 2020-21 Academic Year.
With the slogan "All in One", Haliç University offers many education, training and research opportunities in our campus where all faculties and students of our university are together. In the most equipped university buildings of our country, we apply integrated medical education with a multidisciplinary approach to our students who are the apple of our eyes, and aim to provide them with a world-level education.
With this goal, we continue to enriching our staff consisting of the most experienced faculty members of our country. We use all our opportunities to move our faculty to the top of the national and international rankings preferred by the most distinguished students.
Our basic principle is to train our graduates as doctors who have a high level of professional competence and are equipped with knowledge, skills and responsibility awareness with our mission of providing a contemporary education by adopting lifelong learning as a principle, being open to evidence- based knowledge and integrating the latest developments into our curriculum.
