Stanford University has published its ranking of the most influential scientists worldwide through Elsevier BV. The results of the research, which are presented in two different categories as "Career-Long Impact" and "Impact by Year", include scientists in the top 2% among researchers working in 22 main branches of science and 176 sub- branches of science.
The Stanford ranking is based on international academic performance measurements such as the number of qualified publications, impact values of journals, number of citations and h-index.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alireza Souri from our university has been selected as one of Stanford University's World's Top 2% Scientists (2024). For this great achievement, Prof. Dr. Nihat İnanç, the rector of our university, presented a plaque to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Souri and congratulated him.
