The Volunteering Club was established on December 10, 2013, within T.C. Haliç University. It carries out 15 different sustainable projects with over 900 volunteers, including those from both Haliç University and other universities in Istanbul. It derives its strength from individuals and organizations that do not pursue any profit. It aims to examine community and individual education at a social level and to announce it correctly.
Since 2013, it aims to:
- Be a hope for our children's future,
- Reduce the loneliness of our elderly in nursing homes,
- Prevent people of all ages who have to live in hospitals from feeling alone during these difficult times,
- Collect aid for our animal friends in shelters and visit them regularly,
- Organize symposiums that appeal to different segments of society and aim to raise awareness, and most importantly, raise beneficial individuals for our country and world.
In this context, many projects are carried out every year.
