Our university's Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department academic, Dr. Fatma Azizoğlu, is involved as a researcher in the project titled "Effect of Comfort Care Package Applied to Intensive Care Patients on Patients' Comfort Level and Physiological Parameters" which has been approved for support under TÜBİTAK's 1002-A Short-Term Support Module. The aim of the module is to provide funding for short-term, small-scale research and development projects conducted in universities, research hospitals, and research institutes.

Within the scope of this project, a scientific scale will be developed to assess the comfort level and physiological parameters of intensive care patients, and a specialized comfort care package will be created and tested. In the first phase, a valid and reliable comfort scale tailored for intensive care patients will be developed. In the second phase, a comfort care package for these patients will be developed and tested.

Upon completion, the study aims to provide a reliable measurement tool for assessing patient comfort in intensive care units.
