
The Haliç University Atatürk’s Principles and History of Turkish Revolution Research and Application Center was established on June 7, 2001, in accordance with Article 7, paragraph (d), subparagraph (2) of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, with the aim of cooperating with national and international research and educational institutions, as well as subject-matter experts, in order to fulfill its duties and objectives.
The objectives and activities of the Center are as follows:
To contribute to the education of young individuals in line with Atatürkist thought and Atatürk’s principles and reforms, and to ensure the renewal and enhancement of academic staff’s knowledge in these areas.
To promote research and developments related to Atatürk’s principles and the history of the Turkish Revolution.
To establish a specialized library and archive on Atatürk’s principles and the history of the Turkish Revolution.
To organize conferences, seminars, courses, scholarly meetings, and congresses and to publish books and academic articles on topics related to Atatürk’s principles and the history of the Turkish Revolution.
To support academic staff at all levels who teach courses on Atatürk’s principles and the history of the Turkish Revolution and to encourage intellectual exchange and scholarly collaboration among them.
