Guided by the philosophy that “The library is the heart of the university,” the Haliç University Library takes pride in welcoming thousands of users every day with its rich collection in terms of both quality and quantity and its commitment to the principle of “User Satisfaction First.”

The Haliç University Library operates in a modern facility designed to align with the long-term rhythm of the university, located at the most central point of the campus in Block E (Rectorate).

Our library is tasked with supporting the university’s educational and academic activities and meeting all information needs of its users in the most effective and rapid manner. With staff who are experts in the field of librarianship and fully aware of their responsibilities, the library serves as an effective supporter of a contemporary, student-centered educational process.

Embracing a systematic and continuous development approach, the Haliç University Library spans 4,100 m² and offers seating for 1,030 users, including general library areas, a 24/7 reading room, individual study cabins, open study spaces and computer access areas.

Our library provides access to over 100,000 printed books and more than 2 million e-resources across various disciplines through subscriptions. All users can easily access these e-resources via the DeepKnowledge Library Portal without requiring any proxy server configuration.

Our library features a dedicated workstation designed for visually impaired or low-vision users, as well as a research room specifically prepared for our graduate students, both of which are always available for use.
