Haliç University Journal of Health Sciences has been published three times a year since September 2018. In this journal, academic, scientific and research-based articles in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, nutrition and dietetics, midwifery, nursing, medical sciences, physical education and sports, and other health fields are published. Submitted articles are reviewed and evaluated by referees, and articles accepted are published online on the journal's website and in print.

Evaluation Process

1Articles to be submitted must contain original research results that fill a gap in their field.

2The Editorial Board reviews the articles submitted to the journal primarily in terms of publication principles, journal scope, scientific content and form. Articles that pass the prior review are sent to at least 2 referees for evaluation. In order for the work to be accepted to the journal, it must receive positive evaluation from both referees. If necessary, the third referee may be asked to contribute to the evaluation process. The final decision belongs to the editor.

3It is confirmed through the
iThenticate program that the articles submitted for publication have not been published before and do not contain plagiarism. After the similarity report is checked by the journal editors, the articles with
a result of 20% or less, excluding references, are sent to the referees for evaluation. A correction is requested from the author for articles whose results exceed 20% except references. If the necessary corrections are not made within 30 days, the article will be rejected.

4No fee is charged from article authors for evaluation and publication.

5All the responsibility of the articles belongs to the relevant authors. Articles should be prepared in accordance with internationally accepted scientific ethical rules. When necessary, a copy of the Ethics Committee Report should be attached.

Haliç University Journal of Health Sciences is a journal that has adopted an open access policy.
Scientific and Legal Responsibility of Articles
The scientific and legal responsibility of the published articles belongs to their authors. Authors are responsible for the content of the articles and the accuracy of the references. The Editor, Associate Editors, Editorial and Advisory Board members, and the Publisher do not accept any responsibility for errors or consequences arising from the use of the information in the journal.
Release Permission
Except for individual use, articles, figures and tables published in Haliç University Journal of Health Sciences cannot be reproduced, archived in a system or used in advertising or promotional materials without written permission. Quotations may be made in scientific articles with proper reference.
