Introduction | Research-Development and Project Coordinatorship

Dear Esteemed Faculty Members and Students,

As the Research, Development and Project Coordination Office (ARGEP), we carry out activities aimed at increasing and sustaining our university’s scientific research and development oriented project efforts. In addition, by evaluating project activities and outputs, we strive to strengthen the culture of research and project development through a holistic perspective.

Within this scope, at Haliç ARGEP:

  • Conducting research on suitable funding/grant opportunities for national and international research and development projects, and providing effective information and guidance on open calls, scientific travel and award supports, as well as individual scholarships;
  • Organizing information days on funding/grant programs and project proposal writing trainings;
  • Directing project applications to the most appropriate funding sources;
  • Developing application roadmaps for researchers applying to grant programs;
  • Providing support in the preparation and submission of project proposals in line with the expectations of the relevant programs;
  • Assisting in the procurement of supplementary documents required during the application process, fulfilling internal and external procedures, obtaining authorized institutional signatures on application documents, and preparing institutional support letters;
  • Ensuring that researchers’ ARBİS records are kept up to date;
  • Ensuring that project applications are submitted in a complete and timely manner prior to the application deadlines;
  • Creating ARGEP records and obtaining the necessary signatures and approvals to manage the contract process in the event that an application is approved;
  • In the event of rejection, investigating the reasons for rejection and informing the applicant to enable resubmission;
  • Indexing project data in an integrated manner and keeping them up to date;
  • Providing support to the Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Commission in the coordination of administrative processes.
