The Haliç University Non-Interventional Clinical Research Ethics Committee reviews applications for the following types of research:
- All observational studies except for drug and medical device observational studies.
- Survey studies conducted in the field of Health Sciences.
- Retrospective studies, including file and imaging record analyses.
- Research using materials obtained during routine examinations, tests, analyses, or treatment procedures (e.g., blood, urine, tissue, radiological images, biochemical, microbiological, pathology, or radiology specimens).
- Cell or tissue culture studies.
- Research involving genetic materials for descriptive purposes, excluding gene therapy.
- Studies conducted within the scope of nursing activities.
- Dietary studies involving food additives.
- Research related to body physiology, such as exercise studies.
- Studies based on anthropometric measurements, including weight, height (e.g., body and elbow height), width (e.g., hip width), depth (e.g., hip-to-knee distance), distance (e.g., arm span), curvature (e.g., spinal curvature), circumference (e.g., head circumference, mid-arm circumference), and reach (e.g., maximum reach distance).
- Enabling guest principal singers to conduct workshops with students within the conservatory.
