To prevent the adverse effects of climate change, adapt to the changes it causes and work towards a more livable, safer and sustainable future, we have established the Sustainability and Climate Change Coordination Office at Haliç University. Our team of expert faculty members, administrative staff and students collaborate closely to contribute to a greener world.
- Provide sustainability training to staff and students to raise awareness and foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
- Build a sustainable green campus by increasing green spaces, protecting natural habitats, and implementing initiatives in waste management, energy efficiency and water conservation.
- Support and encourage research projects focused on sustainability and climate change.
- Implement measures to reduce the university’s carbon footprint.
- Strengthen collaborations to enhance the local and global impact of sustainability initiatives.
- Reduce social inequalities and promote gender equality and diversity.
- Support projects aimed at creating an accessible and inclusive campus.
- Enhance communication channels with stakeholders and regularly share updates on sustainability efforts.
