Other Funding Sources

The Swedish Consulate General in Istanbl-Turkey-Sweden Cooperation Unit provides support in areas such as human rights, gender equality and anti-discrimination, the promotion of a more pluralistic civil society and democratic accountability and gender equality between women and men. The priority project topics for each year, as well as the call and application process, can be followed on the institution’s website. Funding support is available to legally recognized organizations.

Turkey-Sweden Cooperation Unit 

Prosperity Fund: Established to promote economic reforms and development aimed at removing barriers to economic growth and reducing poverty, the fund has been open to applications from Turkey since 2011. Each year, the priority project areas, as well as the call and application procedures for fund support, are published on the UK Prosperity Fund Turkey websites. Funding is available to legally recognized organizations.

Project grants under the Direct Aid Program (DAP) of the Embassy of Australia are primarily awarded to projects that create sustainable impact on disadvantaged communities particularly refugees, women and children that focus on achieving practical and tangible outcomes in areas such as social and rural development, education, gender equality, disability inclusion, youth and economic empowerment.

Individuals, local and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government institutions, academic organizations and other non-profit or community-based enterprises engaged in development activities are eligible to benefit from DAP funding.
