Introduction

1. To create a valuable resource aligned with Haliç University’s educational activities in order to fulfill our mission and to establish a comprehensive knowledge network, particularly for the Faculty of Architecture.
2. To carry out project-based studies aimed at defining the near and long-term future of the Golden Horn (Haliç) Valley.
3. To preserve these academic studies within an archival network.
4. To assess and utilize the socio-cultural heritage of the Golden Horn and its surrounding areas.
5. To play an active role in shaping the future of this significant and valuable heritage.

Under the leadership of Haliç University, the Center collaborates with relevant individuals and institutions at both national and international levels, and establishes a comprehensive framework by drawing upon the experience of a rich and significant cultural heritage.
