TÜBİTAK Bilateral-Multiple Cooperation Programs

Bilateral Cooperation Programmes

Our country has bilateral cooperation agreements in the fields of science and technology signed with various countries at intergovernmental or inter-institutional levels. Within the framework of these agreements, joint research projects are supported and monitored under the coordination of TÜBİTAK and financial support is provided for activities such as joint scientific meetings, expert exchanges, study visits and similar initiatives. In this context, applications may be submitted to Bilateral Cooperation Programmes, which are either continuously open for applications or announced through specific calls.

Multilateral Programmes

Our country actively participates in the activities of various European research programmes such as COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology), ESA (European Space Agency) and EMBC (European Molecular Biology Conference); regional organizations such as BSEC (Black Sea Economic Cooperation) and ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization); as well as international organizations including NATO, OECD and UNESCO.

The participation of Turkish scientists in relevant activities organized by these organizations is supported or monitored by TÜBİTAK.
