
Based on annual reports, indicators and statistics published by the Ministry of Justice, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), and other civil society organizations, an annual report will be prepared on violence incidents occurring in Türkiye. This report will examine issues such as the types of violence, the characteristics of perpetrators and victims, the most frequent forms of violence by province and region, cases in which children are involved as perpetrators or victims, and domestic violence.
Based on the findings of the report, policy recommendations aimed at reducing violence will be developed and shared with relevant public institutions and authorities.
Within the framework of bilateral agreements, joint projects will be developed with research centers operating under universities abroad that focus on violence and trauma studies, as well as with relevant centers of the European Union and the United Nations engaged in work on these issues.
