Introduction | Technology Transfer Office

TTO encompasses a comprehensive range of support services aimed at the commercialization of inventions and innovative products that emerge as a result of scientific research, transforming them into benefits for society, the national economy, and the university. Haliç Technology Transfer Office (TTO) serves academics, industry professionals, alumni, entrepreneurs, and students through its dedicated units, including Corporate Communication, Project Support, University–Industry Collaboration, Incubation and Entrepreneurship, and Patents.

Haliç TTO is a dynamic entity committed to enhancing university–industry collaboration, supporting research activities within the scope of commercialization and consultancy. It operates across various areas including information dissemination, training, project support, collaboration, intellectual property rights, entrepreneurship, and company formation.

In this context, Haliç TTO carries out the following activities:

Promoting and publicizing Haliç TTO’s services and areas of operation to academics, alumni, students, and the business community,

Organizing activities aimed at raising awareness among academics, alumni, students, researchers, companies, public institutions, and NGOs through direct visits and one-on-one engagements,

Informing and supporting academic staff regarding their projects through the Project Support Unit,

Planning, announcing, and organizing trainings, conferences, seminars, workshops, promotional/informational meetings, and project competitions,

Participating in events organized by external stakeholders,

Coordinating and monitoring training sessions to enhance the qualifications and competencies of the Haliç TTO team,

Actively utilizing digital and print media channels,

Managing the development of Haliç TTO’s corporate identity,

Establishing and maintaining the Haliç TTO database,

Organizing trainings in the fields of Projects, Intellectual Property Rights, and Entrepreneurship within the scope of Haliç TTO’s service offerings.
