Mission

Haliç University Directorate of Communication aims to strengthen the institution’s corporate reputation by conveying the university’s academic and cultural body of knowledge to the public through accurate, effective, and creative communication strategies.

Vision

It aspires to become a leading communication unit in the field of higher education one that is recognized as a model for communication management, aligned with the dynamics of the digital world, and capable of building strong connections with younger generations.

Our quality policy, in line with the university’s vision and values, is to establish a transparent, reliable, and effective communication culture, and to conduct sustainable, innovative, and student-centered communication processes with all our stakeholders. Guided by these principles, we operate in accordance with our quality management system and carry the strong institutional identity of our university into the future together with our students and all stakeholders.

It monitors how effectively all communication activities (press relations, social media, internal communication, etc.) align with the institution’s strategic goals, and conducts regular performance analyses.

In line with the principles of reliability, transparency, and innovation, it defines the quality standards to be applied in communication activities and updates them in accordance with evolving needs.

It systematically collects and evaluates feedback from students, academic/administrative staff, and external stakeholders, and provides improvement recommendations.

It prepares annual and periodic quality assessment reports and determines, through internal audits, the extent to which communication activities are conducted in alignment with institutional values.

It plans development-oriented training and workshop programs for unit members in areas such as quality, digital communication, and institutional language.
