The Department of Business Administration has been providing education and training activities without interruption since 1998, and since its establishment, it has set the training of qualified human resources as its primary goal. Our department equips its students with a contemporary curriculum that provides both theoretical and practical knowledge in the fundamental areas of business administration. With a strong and experienced academic staff specializing in subfields such as business organization, accounting practices, auditing, and finance, our department possesses the capacity to produce and disseminate knowledge that is valid at both national and international levels. The academic competence and sectoral experience of our faculty members ensure that our students enter the workforce as well-prepared and visionary individuals. In this context, our department attaches great importance not only to academic success but also to sectoral adaptation and ethical responsibility. Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive a Bachelor's degree in (Business Administration). |

Student admission to the Business Administration (Turkish) program is provided in several ways. The equal weight (EA) score in the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) organized by OSYM is taken as a basis for the admission of Turkish students, and in line with the success ranking obtained according to this score, the students gain the right to enroll in the relevant program. Students who graduate from the associate degree program can transfer to the undergraduate program according to the success score they have obtained in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). In addition, students can transfer from other programs or universities as well as through Double Major and Minor Programs. International potential students can apply online through Haliç University International Office portal or through contracted agencies. During the application, candidates upload to the portal their high school diploma and transcript, passport and foreign language proficiency documents. In line with the application criteria prepared by Haliç University International Office, the high school graduation scores of the candidate students are evaluated according to the country where they completed their undergraduate education. Applications of Double Major and Minor Programs in Business Turkish Program in line with the provisions specified in the 20th article of (Halic University Associate and Undergraduate Degree Education) are carried out within the scope of the regulation of (Transition between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions). Students enrrolled in the Business Adminstration Turkish program can do Double Major in the following programs. • Public Relations and Publicity • Psychology • Political Science and International Relations • Matemathics • Gastronomy and Culinary Arts • Sports Management • Nutrition and Dietetics There are no any requirements for the minor program. |

In order to graduate from the Business Administration Turkish program, students must meet the following requirements: 1. To have successfully completed the obligations required by the education program they are registered to. 2. To have completed 240 ECTS credits. 3. To have succeeded in the compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum. 4. To succeed by taking at least 60 ECTS elective courses in the curriculum. 5. Have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. 6. Successfully completing the internship requirements. |
| The Business Administration Turkish Undergraduate Program aims to provide graduates in the fields of management, accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, informatics and production in accordance with the requirements of business life and the era. Graduates of the Bachelor of Business Administration program are employed in various departments of the private sector and public institutions. |
| In the Business Administration Turkish program students for the registered courses are primarily evaluated by three exams: one midterm, one final and one make-up exam. The weight of the final exam is 60%. The remaining 40% part may consist only by a midterm exam. In addition to the midterm exam, the 40% can also include others practices such as group work, homework/project preparation and presentations, and quizzes that measure success during the semester. Methods on how to evaluate the courses are described in detail in the Bologna Information Packages of the courses. The grading system is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Haliç University Associate and Undergraduate Degree Regulations. |
