Mission

To educate healthcare professionals who uphold scientific knowledge and cultural values, prioritize professional ethics and patient rights, embrace the principle of lifelong learning and productivity are research-oriented, knowledgeable about and compliant with quality standards and mindful of their professional rights and boundaries; to conduct undergraduate and postgraduate education and research in the field of health sciences based on science and technology at international standards; and to produce original scientific studies that translate evidence-based and up-to-date professional practices into services for society.

The unit conducts internal evaluation studies within academic and administrative units in accordance with the principles determined by the University Quality Commission and submits all documents related to these studies to the University Quality Commission.

It works in close collaboration with the University Quality Commission and its relevant sub-committees, and carries out activities in line with the procedures and principles established by these commissions.

Within academic and administrative units, it executes all activities necessary for the evaluation and enhancement of academic and administrative services, the improvement and assurance of quality, and the achievement of institutional success in national and international ranking processes, in alignment with the strategic plan and objectives of both the unit and the university.

It prepares a report containing the quality of the unit’s educational, research, and administrative activities as well as the results of quality improvement efforts. The report is submitted to the University Quality Commission, and the approved documents are made publicly accessible through the web page.

It ensures the control, coordination, and regular updating of the faculty and departmental web pages related to faculty and quality processes.

During internal and external evaluation processes, it ensures necessary preparations are completed for academic and administrative units and provides full support to the evaluating institutions, organizations, or committees.

It communicates the decisions of the University Quality Commission to the relevant programs/departments of the concerned unit, monitors their implementation, and follows up on their outcomes.

Under the guidance of the Commission, it coordinates the quality improvement activities of its academic programs and administrative services and monitors their performance. It ensures that the Academic Unit Quality Commission’s activities are effectively implemented at the level of all programs, departments, and divisions within the unit.

It performs other duties assigned by the Rector related to its field of responsibility.

It carries out and supports other activities deemed necessary by the Quality Commission.
