The content of the program is to teach students the basic concepts and current practices in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation; to train them as health professionals who are competent in scientific and professional fields and who have the necessary knowledge, skills, competence and clinical thinking skills for physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs to be applied to patients/healthy individuals, respect human rights and ethical values, consider the benefit of society and adopt lifelong learning as a principle. |

| Students are admitted with the numerical score type obtained from the Central Placement Exam conducted by OSYM. For application and registration to the program, the undergraduate general admission requirements of Haliç University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation are valid. In line with the quotas opened on certain dates by the decision of the Board of Directors and announced on the University website, student admission is provided in accordance with the provisions of the relevant directive for transfer and domestic and international applications (https://halic.edu.tr/tr/universitemiz/mevzuat/yonergeler). |
| Students who graduate from the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation undergraduate department can continue their master's and doctorate programs in the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Departments, if they meet the necessary prerequisites, as well as have the opportunity to receive graduate education in the basic medical sciences of the Faculty of Medicine. |

| Students are required to complete 240 ECTS and have a GPA of 2.00 or higher. Students are required to take and successfully complete all compulsory courses. In-field, non-field and university elective courses, the number and credits of which are determined in the semester curriculum, must be selected and be successfully passed. Students who have reached the graduation stage must successfully complete the Graduation Project and pass Graduation Exam courses. |
| Graduates of the department can work in public hospitals, private hospitals, the Ministry of Health, Social Insurance Institution, municipality and university research hospitals, public health centers, private education and rehabilitation centers, private clinics, wellness centers, sports clubs and nursing homes. |
| Depending on the regulations of the higher education institution of Haliç University, the evaluation of the courses is made with a midterm exam and a final exam. Students who cannot successfully complete the course after the final exam are entitled to a make-up exam. Depending on the preference of the course instructor, homework/project grading can also be done. The exams of the practice-based courses in our curriculum are conducted practically. At the end of the fourth grade, a Graduation Exam is held in order to determine the professional level and qualifications of the students, and a Graduation Project is carried out under the supervision of consultant faculty member in order to gain academic skills |
