Istanbul Robot Museum, the world's first humanoid robot museum founded by Türkiye's robotics brand Akın Robotics, opened recently. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zafer Utlu, recently visited the museum, where all the works carried out in the field of robotic technologies since 2009 are exhibited.

Utlu made evaluations during the museum visit and made the statement: “Haliç University supports the studies for the digital world of the future and offers academic opportunities to young people by including interactive formations such as digital technologies, Metaverse, blockchain, software, game design, digital arts, architecture, AR, VR and 3D technologies in their programs.

Expressing that they are now undergoing a transformation in all areas of life with the speed of technology development, and those who become digitalized and adapt to technology at the same speed will be the stars of this age, our rector continued his words as follows:

"As both a mechanical engineer and an academic, I find this museum concept developed on robots and humanoid machines very successful and valuable. I would like to congratulate everyone who contributed to the founding of this museum, especially Özgür Akın, the CEO of Akın Robotics. I think that the concept of the robot museum will be a new generation tradition and will remain a cultural and scientific legacy for future generations."

"Our university will carry out joint studies with Akın Robotics"

Expressing that they held a very productive panel on robotic software, philosophy of technology, and the metaverse with Akın Robotics CEO Özgür Akın at the technology summit called “Robotics - Future of Business'', which was held at our 5th Levent campus last month, our rector said that Haliç University attaches great importance to the close contact of students with the technology sector and gave the good news that they would support any kind of cooperation and partnership to be developed with a leading institution like Akın Robotics.
