Haliç University continues to expand its global network through international promotional activities and academic collaborations. In this context, our university participated in the 5th Turkish-Arab University Presidents Conference and the Tunisia-Türkiye Universities Education Fair, both held in Tunisia, and signed cooperation agreements with six new universities.

The conference, hosted by the University of Tunis El Manar on October 10, 2025, was attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Nihat İnanç, representing Haliç University. With the participation of representatives from over 250 higher education institutions from Türkiye and Arab countries, the event provided a significant platform for strengthening academic collaborations, advancing internationalization processes, and laying the groundwork for joint projects.

As part of the visit, Haliç University also took part in the Tunisia-Türkiye Universities Education Fair held on October 12, 2025, organized with the support of the Ministry of Trade and in cooperation with the Service Exporters’ Association. In addition to our Rector Prof. Dr. Nihat İnanç, the fair was attended by Berrak Bilgen Beşergil, Head of the Department of Educational and Innovative Services at the Ministry of Trade, and Mustafa Efe, Head of the International Relations Department of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

As a result of the meetings held during the visit, Haliç University signed academic cooperation protocols with six different institutions. The agreements were signed by Rector Prof. Dr. Nihat İnanç and his counterparts: Prof. Dr. Khaled Sartawi, Vice-Rector of Philadelphia University; Prof. Dr. Wael Abdelmaguid, Rector of Beirut Arab University; Prof. Dr. Moez Chafra, Rector of the University of Tunis El Manar; Prof. Dr. Alaeddin Jarab, Vice-Rector of Zarqa University; Prof. Dr. Abbas M. Abdulhussein, Rector of the University of Information Technology and Communications (Iraq); and Prof. Dr. Asad Y. Asad, Rector of the Islamic University of Gaza.
