The quality policies of Haliç University Faculty of Medicine are defined within the framework of the general quality policies of Haliç University, in line with the University’s vision and mission objectives. The quality policy of Haliç University encompasses the following core principles:

This quality policy reflects the University’s commitment to conducting all activities in compliance with established standards. The Faculty of Medicine Quality Commission is responsible for ensuring that all processes of the Faculty including education and training, research and development and administrative services are conducted in compliance with national and international quality standards and for managing accreditation processes.

Within the scope of evaluating and improving education and training processes, the Commission ensures the periodic analysis of the objectives, competencies, and content of the medical education program in line with current scientific developments, societal health needs, and the National Core Education Program (UÇEP).
It monitors the reliability and validity of theoretical, practical, and oral examinations, and evaluates the extent to which they meet educational objectives; it also presents recommendations for the development and improvement of measurement and evaluation methods.
It ensures the administration and analysis of surveys conducted among medical students concerning general educational processes, identifies potential areas for improvement based on these analyses, and reports the findings to the Dean’s Office.
It evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of technological tools and course materials used in education and carries out initiatives to develop innovative educational technologies.
It tracks the Faculty’s research infrastructure as well as the number of publications and projects per faculty member, and proposes strategies aimed at enhancing the research performance of academic staff.
It audits the compliance of scientific research conducted within the Faculty with international standards and ethical principles, and organizes activities to raise awareness on these issues.
It inspects lecture halls, laboratories, and other student facilities to determine whether their equipment and physical infrastructure support educational quality, reports any deficiencies, and submits these to the Dean’s Office.
It prepares the Faculty Internal Evaluation Report, which includes all activities of the previous year, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and improvement plans, and submits it to both the University Quality Commission and the Dean’s Office.
It defines faculty-specific performance indicators in line with the University’s strategic plan and quality objectives, and ensures these indicators are regularly monitored.
It conducts all necessary preparations to ensure compliance with national and international accreditation standards and prepares self-evaluation reports.
It organizes information sessions and training programs to promote the participation of all academic and administrative staff in the Faculty’s quality assurance processes.
