Haliç University Gastronomy Society

Haliç University Gastronomy Society is a student community that brings together students who are interested in the field of gastronomy, where flavour, culture and creativity converge. Our aim is to raise awareness of gastronomy, explore culinary arts both theoretically and practically, introduce local and world cuisines and promote a sustainable food culture.

Through workshops, tasting events, seminars and kitchen tours, our Society offers its members an experience that is both enjoyable and instructive, while talks and collaborative projects with industry professionals provide a closer view of the gastronomy world.

The Gastronomy Society values not only the act of cooking, but also understanding the story, cultural significance and social impact of a dish. In this direction, we welcome all those who wish to share their passion for flavour, learn new things and create together to join us.
