Haliç Sports Society

In accordance with the “General Purpose and Fundamental Principles of Haliç University”:

• To promote the physical and mental development of its members, nurture a love of sports and encourage the cultivation of sportsmanship and ethics;
• To enable the participation of students from departments other than the School of Physical Education and Sports who have an interest in athletic activities;
• To connect Haliç University students with leading companies and representatives from relevant sectors in order to provide guidance on career and professional choices and to facilitate access to internship and employment opportunities;
• To contribute to students’ social lives and personal development by maintaining communication and cooperation with other Haliç University societies.

To achieve these objectives, the society:

• Organizes and participates in all types of sports activities;
• Holds shows, seminars, meetings and conferences;
• Conducts educational, developmental and recreational events;
• Engages in research, publications and archival work that contribute to the advancement of sports;
• Utilizes the sports and social facilities provided by Haliç Sports Club under the conditions specified by the club;
• Ensures the continuity and engagement of its members and volunteer participants and takes necessary measures to maintain the club’s sustainability and visibility;
• Organizes fundraising and community activities such as dinners, fairs, musical events and sports organizations to support its operations and goals.
