Volunteering Society

The Volunteering Society was founded on December 10, 2013, within Haliç University. With over 3,000 volunteers including participants from both Haliç University and other universities across Istanbul the club actively carries out 15 sustainable social projects. Its strength comes entirely from non-profit individuals and organizations, operating with a commitment to social responsibility and public welfare. The society aims to analyze and promote community and individual education at a social level in the most effective and ethical way.

Since 2013, the Volunteering Society has been dedicated to:

  • Bringing hope to the future of children,
  • Reducing the loneliness of elderly people in nursing homes,
  • Offering emotional support to patients of all ages who must spend their lives in hospitals,
  • Supporting and regularly visiting animals in shelters by collecting donations for their needs,
  • Organizing symposiums and awareness-raising events that address various segments of society,
  • And most importantly, nurturing socially conscious and compassionate individuals who will contribute to Türkiye and the world.

Within this framework, the club continues to carry out numerous meaningful and sustainable projects every year.
