Photography Society

Photography continues to grow in popularity as it brings together aesthetics, art and communication. As the Photography Society, our goal is to introduce the basic principles of photography and its various fields while helping members develop their own means of visual expression.

At the beginning, members are divided into small groups under the supervision of an advisor to learn fundamental concepts of Basic Photography, including composition, lighting techniques and camera settings. After these introductory lessons, we organize city tours at regular intervals where participants practice different techniques such as landscape, nature and long-exposure photography. These excursions allow members not only to put theory into practice but also to explore street photography and understand the visual language of the street. Additionally, we host talks with prominent professionals from fields such as studio photography, food photography and fashion photography (in collaboration with the Fashion Society) to provide insights into industry experiences and inspire our members to discover the area in which they can best express themselves.

After each trip, we conduct photo review sessions to assess progress. By the end of the academic year, we organize an exhibition on campus to showcase the photographs taken throughout the year celebrating the outcomes of our collective creative journey and leaving behind lasting memories.
