In the evaluation of the success of the program, it is necessary to distinguish between the criteria in the education period and the criteria in the evaluation of the success of the graduates. During the education period, in addition to the success of our students in the courses, the rate of participation in professional meetings both in the university environment and outside the university, the number of department students benefiting from the Erasmus program, participation rates in projects to be made with public relations and advertising agencies will be the determining criteria. After graduation, the employment rates of our students in the private and public sectors, especially the level of success in KPSS, ALES and YDS exams will be taken as criteria. In addition, the success of the department graduates in the institutions they work and their contributions to their sectors will be followed. Course evaluations will be made with methods that will objectively reflect the student's achievements. These can be divided into three groups as classical methods, performance determinants and examination methods. Some of these methods are used depending on the situation of the course or the work to be evaluated and the success grade is reflected in certain weights. The measurement and evaluation methods used are initially shared with the students. • Classical Methods: quizzes, homework, midterm exams, final exam, mid-term projects and end-of-term project evaluations, • Performance Evaluation: teamwork and active learning efforts, written and oral presentations, participation in web discussions, jury evaluations, etc. • Review Methods: such as entrance survey, pre-exam, exit survey, performance surveys, opinion polls, interviews, online tools, certification exams, comprehensive exam. |
