Haliç University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Textile and Fashion Design; It aims to train designers who can prepare and produce original, contemporary, creative and qualified designs for the fashion, ready-to-wear and textile sectors, develop their designs using materials and production techniques, and lead fashion. , structure, material, functionality, visual balance, etc. was created with the discipline that aims to create original and creative designs with appropriate synthesis of design principles. During the 4-year undergraduate education of our department; In addition to fashion design and the additional courses that feed it, it aims to train qualified designers in the field of fashion and textile in line with the principles of weaving, printing, original fabric design and textile design. Our program, which adopts a student-oriented education approach, aims to increase learning by experience as much as possible. In this respect, our Erasmus agreements, which are increasing in number, offer our students a qualified and active international education experience. Increasing the international exchanges made in the department over the years is of great importance in terms of developing a universal design awareness of our students.
