We live in an age where the effect of visuals outweighs words in our processes of perceiving and interpreting the world. Our environment is surrounded by visual communication elements. We communicate with each other mostly through visuals and try to make sense of the complex images we encounter in daily life. Especially the developments in digital technologies and the rapid spread of multiple communication environments have increased the importance of visual communication. At the point where visuality meets technology, designers who can use the language of images effectively and have advanced visual communication skills are needed. |

Students who have completed their undergraduate education and training must have a GPA of at least 2.00 in order to graduate. Graduation GPA is calculated over 4.00; All courses taken are taken into account when calculating this average. Students who have completed their education in a maximum of 8 semesters without receiving any FF or FA grades and disciplinary punishments, those with a GPA of 3.50 or higher are included in the "high honor" list, and those between 3.00 and 3.49 are included in the "honor" list. Students who are placed on the honor list are given a special document showing their status together with the diploma. Students are also required to complete the annual Turkish Language, Atatürk's Principles and Revolution History and English courses, known as compulsory YÖK courses, before graduation. The total credit required by the students during their education is 240 credits. An advisor is appointed for each student, and this advisor prepares a separate course follow-up chart for each student at the end of each semester. Through this schedule, general preliminary plans can be made for the graduation of the student and this course follow-up schedule is presented to the faculty secretariat at the graduation stage. |

In the evaluation of the success of the program, it is necessary to distinguish between the criteria in the education period and the criteria in the evaluation of the success of the graduates. During the education period, in addition to the success of our students in the courses, the rate of participation in professional meetings both in the university environment and outside the university, the number of department students benefiting from the Erasmus program, participation rates in projects to be made with public relations and advertising agencies will be the determining criteria. After graduation, the employment rates of our students in the private and public sectors, especially the level of success in KPSS, ALES and YDS exams will be taken as criteria. In addition, the success of the department graduates in the institutions they work and their contributions to their sectors will be followed. Course evaluations will be made with methods that will objectively reflect the student's achievements. These can be divided into three groups as classical methods, performance determinants and examination methods. Some of these methods are used depending on the situation of the course or the work to be evaluated and the success grade is reflected in certain weights. The measurement and evaluation methods used are initially shared with the students. • Classical Methods: quizzes, homework, midterm exams, final exam, mid-term projects and end-of-term project evaluations, • Performance Evaluation: teamwork and active learning efforts, written and oral presentations, participation in web discussions, jury evaluations, etc. • Review Methods: such as entrance survey, pre-exam, exit survey, performance surveys, opinion polls, interviews, online tools, certification exams, comprehensive exam. |
