Üniversitemiz Mimarlık Fakültesi’ne bağlı olarak sürdürülen İç Mimarlık ve Çevre Tasarımı Lisans Programının temel amacı, insan-mekân ilişkilerini ve teknolojik gelişmeleri göz önünde bulundurarak günümüz ihtiyaçlarına uygun, yaratıcı ve yaşanabilir iç mekânlar tasarlayan ve detaylandıran, gerekli bilgi ve becerilerle donatılmış mezunlar yetiştirmektir. Günümüzde iç mimarlık disiplini birçok farklı alana yayılmış, bu alanlar ana hatlar oluşturarak gelişim göstermiştir. Buradan hareketle Haliç Üniversitesi İç Mimarlık ve Çevre Tasarımı Bölümü, lisans eğitimini bu gelişim ve değişim ekseninde kurgulamaktadır. Birinci sınıftan başlayan ve programın odak noktasını oluşturan stüdyo eğitimi, tasarlama eylemi için gerekli olan özgür bakış açısını ilk sınıftan itibaren oluşturmayı hedeflemektedir. Stüdyo eğitimi ile birlikte manuel ve dijital ortamda sunum teknikleri, yapı, detay ve malzeme bilgisinin geliştirilmesini amaçlayan dersler programda yer almaktadır. Eğitim programımızın önemli bir ayağını dijital üretim araçlarını yetkin bir biçimde kavratmak oluşturmaktadır. Dersler stüdyo ortamında, amfilerde, model ve malzeme atölyelerinde gerçekleştirilmekte, aynı zamanda İstanbul’un katmanlı içeriğinden de sıklıkla yararlanılmaktadır. İç Mimarlık ve Çevre Tasarımı Programı 4 senede tamamlanmaktadır ve program eşit ağırlık puan türü ile öğrenci kabul etmektedir. Bölümü tercih edecek adayların araştırma istekleri yüksek, öğrenmeye açık, programın yüksek temposuna ayak uydurabilecek adaylar olmaları beklenmektedir. Bölümde ders içerikleri oldukça yoğun olmak ile birlikte, ders dışı etkinlikler de büyük bir ağırlığa sahiptir. Farklı okullar ile gerçekleştirilen atölye çalışmaları, paneller ve sergiler iç mimarlık ve çevre tasarımı bölümünün omurgasını oluşturan stüdyo eğitimini destekler niteliktedir. İç Mimarlık ve Çevre Tasarımı Bölümü’nü tamamlayan mezunların farklı alanlarda iş olanakları bulunmaktadır. Tasarım ofisleri, şantiyeler, iç mimarlık ürünleri destek ve satışı, sergi mimarlığı, yat tasarımı, yeniden işlevlendirme projeleri, proje görselleştirme ofisleri çalışma alanlarından bazılarıdır. Bölümde zorunlu staj bulunmamakta ancak öğrencilerin staj yapmaları, atölye çalışmalarına ve yarışmalara katılmaları teşvik edilmektedir. Vizyonumuz Haliç Üniversitesi İç Mimarlık ve Çevre Tasarımı Bölümü olarak vizyonumuz; Ulusal ve uluslararası düzeyde tanınan lider bir kurum olmak; bilime, sanata, çevreye en üst düzeyde katkı vermek; mimari ve tasarım konularında halkı bilinçlendirerek sağlıklı, planlı, çevreye saygılı şehirlerin oluşumuna katkı sağlamak; eğitim-öğretim, araştırma ve uygulamada hem yerel hem uluslararası düzeyde etkin konumda bulunmaktır. Misyonumuz 1999 yılında kurulan İç Mimarlık ve Çevre Tasarımı Bölümümüzün misyonu, disiplinler ve ölçekler arası bir perspektif ile yaşadığı çevreye eleştirel bir bakış açısıyla yaklaşabilen, eğitim sürecinde beraberce inşa edeceğimiz teknik ve entelektüel donanım ile sadece Türkiye değil dünya insanı olmaya çalışan, yapılı çevrenin ve gündelik hayatın dönüşümünü okuyabilen ve bu dönüşümün içerisinde bir aktör olabilecek yetkinlikte meslek insanları yetiştirmektir. |
| Halic University is a foundation university established by the Foundation for Children with Leukemia in accordance with the Higher Education Law numbered 2547. Halic University was established in accordance with the law no. 4324 published in the Official Gazette dated January 14, 1998 and started education on November 23, 1998. Interior Architecture Department started teaching in the 1999-2000 fall semester. |
| Students who successfully complete this program are eligible to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture. |
| Students are placed in this program with the central examination system within the framework of the regulations determined by the Higher Education Council (YÖK). Students entering the examination can apply to the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department with EA point type. Exchange students are accepted within the framework of bilateral agreements (Erasmus). Admission of students to undergraduate courses is made by decisions of the University Senate Board. |

| Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department Graduates can work as designers, implementers and controllers in project and construction units of the Public and Private Sector. By setting up their own work place as a freelance interior architect, they can carry out public and private sector projects and projects in which they enter the national-international competitions. They can take part in magazines published in exhibition organizations and interior architecture. They can work as academicians at universities. |
| Each student must register for classes at the beginning of the period and is required to be continued at least %80 of applications, %70 of courses ın order to enter the final exam. Students are subjected to at least one midterm and final exam for each course. The contribution to success grade of 60% the final exam, 40% the mid-term exam in total (as the midterm grade homework, projects, laboratory exams, the scores obtained from measuring tools such as quizzes, etc. can be evaluated). All exams are evaluated over 100 points. At least 50 points to take the final exam, there is an obligation to provide a 50 average. AA, BA, BB, CB and CC students with one of the notes are considered successful in that course. DC and DD are conditional success. FD and FF characters received failing grades and the number of courses are opened again in the first period. A student whose cumulative grade point average (GPA) remains below 2.00 for two consecutive semesters is required to retake, during the new course registration period, any courses from the most recent two semesters (the completed semester and the one preceding it) in which they received a conditional passing grade of DC or DD. |
