About The Program

Spor Yöneticiliği bölümü; öğrencilere spor organizasyonlarının, takımların kamu veya özel kurum ve kuruluşların, organizasyon ve yönetimi, pazarlama, iletişim, spor hukuku, tesis yönetimi, insan kaynakları yönetimi ve organizasyonel liderlik gibi konularda beceriler kazandırmak, sporun sevk ve idaresinde yer alacak ulusal ile uluslararası alanlarda yeterliliğini gösterebilen donanımlı ve üstün nitelikli spor yöneticilerinin yetiştirilmesini hedeflemektedir. 

Program Eğitim Amaçlar

  1.  Yönetim biliminin temel ilkelerine, yöntemlerine ve güncel yaklaşımlarına hakim olarak bu bilgileri spor yönetimine uygulama,
  2.  Programda tanımlanan dersler sonucunda bilgi ve becerilerini geliştirerek modern bir spor yöneticisi olma,
  3.  Günümüz spor yönetimi ihtiyaçlarına ve isteklerine cevap verecek nitelikte olma,
  4.  Spor yöneticiliğinde sporcunun, bireyin ve toplumun çıkarlarını göz önünde bulundurarak karar alma,
  5.  Özel ve kamu kuruluşlarında yönetim kademesinde yer alarak, stratejilerini oluşturacak ve belirlenen stratejileri gerçekleştirecek çıktıları üretme,
  6.  Spor örgütlerinin yönetim ve yönetimle ilgili departmanları hakkında temel düzeyde bilgiye sahip olma,
  7.  Ulusal ve uluslararası spor organizasyonlarda çalışabilecek donanıma sahip olmaktır.

Haliç University of Physical Education and Sports Y.O and Physical Education in Turkey in private universities in 2008 and Sports High School, as well as one of the three sections that incorporates Sports Management Department was first opened section
Degree in sports management
• Being a high school graduate
• The student must have received a threshold score determined in the higher education placement exam conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM). Candidates who meet the requirements are eligible to take the Special Ability Exam.
The application period is the fall semester. Candidates must have received a threshold score determined by the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM). Candidates who meet the necessary conditions are taken to the special talent exam and the registration process of the students who have the right to register after the general evaluation is completed until the end of the first week following these periods. The exact dates are stated in the announcements section of our website
You can apply to master's, doctorate programs or proficiency in arts programs in any field.

In order to graduate from the Department of Sports Management, students must meet the following conditions:
To have successfully completed the obligations stipulated by the education-training program they are registered with.
1. To have completed 240 ECTS credits.
2. To have succeeded in the compulsory and elective courses in the curriculum.
3. To succeed by taking at least 60 ECTS elective courses in the curriculum.
4. To have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.
5. Successfully completing the Vocational Field Practice I and II courses.
Students who graduate from the sports management department are given the title of sports manager. Graduates of the Department of Sports Management can work in many areas, including sports, private and public. Graduates of this department can be employed in sports organizations as sports specialists or sports training specialists in the central or provincial organizations of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the public sector. In the private sector, managers, coordinators, facility managers, human resources, public relations, marketing, foreign relations, etc. in every sector related to sports clubs and sports. They can be employed in many positions.
There are three exams, one midterm, one final and one make-up exam, in the courses taken by the students of the Sports Management Department. The weight of the final exam in the end-of-term grade is determined as 60%. The 40% part may consist of the midterm exam, and in addition to the midterm exam, there are also practices in which the achievements during the term are measured, such as group work, preparing homework/projects, and making presentations.
Methods on how to evaluate the courses are described in detail in the Bologna Information Packages of the courses. The grading system is T.C. It is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Haliç University Associate and Undergraduate Education Regulations.
