| The Nutrition and Dietetics Doctoral Program aims to enable students to specialize in relevant fields and develop their skills in these disciplines in both basic and applied areas. This program aims to solve problems that impact public health and protect human health. The primary objective of the program is to provide graduate education to develop a research workforce of international standards, equipped with entrepreneurial skills and an effective and productive work ethic, who can make the necessary contributions to scientific and technological fields in matters related to human life and similar matters. |

| Students who successfully complete the doctoral program receive the degree of Doctor of Nutrition and Dietetics. |

In order to apply to the doctoral program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree with thesis in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Dietetics, Collective Nutrition Systems and Community Nutrition. Candidates from different disciplines deemed appropriate by the relevant board of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics can also be accepted for doctoral studies. Candidates must have taken the ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam) and YDS (Foreign Language Proficiency Level Determination Exam) or equivalency exams determined by the Interuniversity Board and have obtained the minimum scores stipulated by the Turkish Haliç University Senate. (ALES numeric 55, YDS 55) Candidates whose documents are completed are entitled to take the exam to apply to the program. A written and interview exam is held on a certain day and time announced by the institute. Quantitative and qualitative grades are weighted and those with the highest scores within the quota of the candidates who are sorted according to their weighted grade are accepted to the program. It is calculated by taking into account Undergraduate success grade, Master's success grade, ALES grade, English language proficiency, Interview grade. |
| Graduates who successfully complete the doctorate program can apply for an academic position in higher education institutions in the country or abroad, or for an expert position in research centers in public institutions in the same or similar fields. |

| The doctoral program consists of 240 ECTS credits, including at least 7 courses, seminars, proficiency exams, thesis proposals and thesis work, for students who have been accepted with a master's degree with a thesis, a total of 21 credits and at least 60 ECTS in one semester of education and training. T to students who have completed the courses included in the program, thesis and presentation according to the success conditions specified in the regulation.C. The doctoral degree “Physical Education and Sports Sciences Program” is awarded by the Graduate Institute of Haliç University. |
| Graduates can work as clinical dietitian or executive dietitian in hospitals, executive dietitian or community health dietitian in various public institutions and organizations, work in the food industry, individual diet counseling and education centers and/or be employed as academicians. |
| During the course period, students are evaluated with a written exam, homework and oral presentations. If the student who meets the course requirements takes the doctoral qualifying exam and is successful, he/she can switch to the thesis stage. |
