Diploma Procedures | DSA

The procedures carried out during the collection of diplomas by graduates of our university’s associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs, as well as the documents required to be submitted at the time of diploma collection, are provided below.

How can the readiness of the diploma be checked?

Information regarding whether a diploma is ready can be obtained from the Student Affairs Directorate.

What procedures are carried out when collecting the diploma?

Graduates whose graduation has been approved can apply to the Student Affairs Directorate with their Turkish ID card (or Residence Permit for international students) or student ID card. In such cases, the diploma and its supplement may be collected personally by the graduate or by an authorized representative presenting a notarized power of attorney.

What should be done in case the diploma is lost?

Graduates who have lost their diploma may request a second copy (duplicate) by applying to the Student Affairs Directorate with the required documents.

Lost and found notice published in a local or national newspaper, or a report issued by law enforcement authorities
What should be done in case the diploma supplement is lost?

In case of loss of the diploma supplement, a reissue application must be submitted. The following documents must be submitted to the Student Affairs Directorate, Diploma Procedures Unit. The Directorate will review the documents and decide whether the request can be approved. If approved, a new diploma supplement, marked with its edition number, will be issued and signed by the Student Affairs Directorate.

Diploma Damage

In case of torn or otherwise damaged diplomas, a second copy of the diploma (Duplicate) will be issued.

Changes in Personal Information After Graduation

For changes in personal information due to marriage, court decision, or acquisition/renunciation of citizenship, the following documents are required:

Certified copy of court decision, copy of marriage certificate, or population registry certificate (original must be presented. The copy will be verified against the original and signed and stamped by the authorized personnel.)
