In line with the strategic plan and objectives of the Deanery of Student Affairs, to establish an internal and external quality assurance system for student support services, student activities, administrative operations and communication processes; to define institutional performance indicators; and to carry out related activities in accordance with the procedures and principles set by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK).
To design, evaluate and when necessary revise student support processes, including counseling, application and referral procedures, event planning and the evaluation of student complaints and requests.
To manage internal control processes across the unit, monitor and measure their implementation and take corrective actions when needed.
To contribute to the implementation of decisions taken by the Unit Quality Commission throughout the Deanery of Student Affairs and to follow up on the results of these implementations.
To prepare the Unit Internal Evaluation Report and other quality-related documents concerning the Deanery of Student Affairs and to submit them to the Directorate of Strategy Development and Quality Assurance when requested.
To organize internal meetings, information sessions and training activities aimed at promoting awareness of quality assurance practices.
To ensure that all information, documents and reports requested by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK), the Haliç University Quality Commission and other relevant boards are submitted accurately and on time.
