As the Haliç University Student Council, our primary mission is to develop projects that address students’ needs in the areas of education, health, sports, and culture, to identify their problems, and to convey proposed solutions to the relevant administrative units. The Student Council aims to ensure that students take an active role in decision-making processes within the university and to serve as a platform for the democratic representation and advocacy of student rights. The essential goal of these efforts is to make university life more productive and fulfilling for all students.
Among the long-term objectives of the Student Council are:
- Strengthening a culture of democratic participation among students, academics, and administrative staff, thereby contributing to the development of an inclusive and sustainable education environment,
- Increasing students’ active engagement in university life,
- Encouraging greater participation in social, cultural, and sports activities,
- Providing necessary support and motivation to enhance academic achievement.
