Baran Çifci, a graduate student in the Department of Physical Education and Sports at the Institute of Graduate Studies, achieved significant success in the Muay Thai competitions held by the Turkish University Sports Federation. Competing in the 71 kg A Division, Çifci earned second place in the tournament.
Expressing his satisfaction with the result, Çifci stated: "Returning to the ring after a long break was both a physical and mental challenge for me. Every moment of this journey was exciting, and coming back as the runner-up in the 71 kg A Division is a great source of pride. This achievement is not just a placement—it reflects perseverance, patience, and belief. I'm grateful to everyone who supported me, and I would especially like to thank the Haliç University family for their encouragement and continued support."
