MİSYON
Hemşirelik mesleğinin etik ilkeleri ve bilimsel temelleri doğrultusunda; birey, aile ve toplumun sağlığını koruma, geliştirme ve yeniden kazandırma sürecinde etkin rol alan; hemşirelik sürecini kanıta dayalı uygulamalarla bütünleştiren; insana saygılı, kültürel duyarlılığı yüksek, eleştirel düşünen ve yaşam boyu öğrenmeyi benimseyen nitelikli hemşireler yetiştirmektir. Bu misyon doğrultusunda eğitim programımız, Uluslararası Hemşireler Konseyi (ICN) tarafından tanımlanan hemşirelik rollerini temel alır: bakım verme, eğitici olma, savunuculuk yapma, araştırma yapma, yöneticilik ve liderlik etme. Kurumsal özerkliğimiz çerçevesinde, sağlık sistemine entegre olabilen, mesleki sorumluluklarının bilincinde ve topluma karşı hesap verebilir profesyoneller yetiştirmek önceliğimizdir.

Hemşirelik eğitiminde ulusal ve uluslararası düzeyde yetkinlik, etik değerlere bağlılık ve bilimsel üretkenlik temelinde öncü bir kurum olmak; hemşirelik mesleğinin gelişimine yön veren, sağlık politikalarının şekillenmesinde katkı sağlayan, yenilikçi ve sürdürülebilir eğitim modelleriyle topluma değer katan bir eğitim kurumu haline gelmektir. Bu vizyonla, mezunlarımızın yalnızca mesleki bilgi ve becerilerle değil; aynı zamanda hesap verebilirlik, etik duyarlılık, insan haklarına saygı ve toplumsal katkı bilinci ile donatılması hedeflenmektedir.

Nursing was opened as a doctoral program in 2011 within the scope of Health Sciences Institute within the scope of Nursing Department.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing
- Graduated from the School of Nursing, School of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing of Health Schools and having a graduate degree in Nursing.
- The program applied by the Center for Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES), which is centrally conducted by the Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM), must have a score of at least 55, Foreign Language Examination (YDS) or YÖKDİL at least 55 standard points.
- Graduation of students who have successfully completed the course and thesis phases is approved.
- Post graduate students may continue academic progress, may apply for a faculty member in the University

At least 240 ECTS credits including a minimum of 7 courses, seminar, proficiency exam, thesis proposal and dissertation study must be provided for a total of 21 credits for a student with a thesis graduate degree and not less than 60 ECTS for a term of education and training It occurs. It is composed of at least 300 ECTS credits including 14 courses, seminar, proficiency exam, thesis proposal and dissertation study for at least 42 credits for the students who are accepted by the undergraduate degree. Students who successfully complete their courses are subject to the Proficiency Examination. Proficiency exam is the measurement of the basic subjects and concepts in the field of the student who completed his / her courses and seminar and whether he / she has the depth of scientific research related to his doctoral studies. When the examiner will take the qualification examination, the institution's board of directors will determine and announce it. However, the student who is admitted to the graduate level must take the proficiency exam at the latest until the end of the fifth semester and the student accepted at the undergraduate level at the latest at the end of the seventh semester. Successfully completing the Doctoral Qualifying Examination, the student shall, within six months at the latest, orally defend the thesis proposal, including the purpose, methodology and work plan of the research to be undertaken, in front of the thesis monitoring committee. The student distributes a written report on the thesis proposal to the members of the committee at least fifteen days before oral defense. Without a valid excuse for defending the thesis proposal, the student who fails to enter the thesis proposal is deemed unsuccessful and the thesis proposal is rejected. A student in a Ph.D. program writes his / her results in accordance with the rules of writing accepted by the Senate and defends his thesis verbally in front of the jury. After the completion of the thesis examination, the jury decides on acceptance, rejection or correction of the thesis with absolute majority, closed to the listeners. The students who accepted the thesis are considered successful. This decision will be reported to the relevant institute within three days following the examination of the thesis under the chairmanship of the institute's department. The dissertation of the student whose dissertation is rejected by the thesis is rejected. A student who has been given a correction for a thesis should make the necessary corrections within six months at the latest and defend his thesis in front of the same jury. In this defense, the student who is unsuccessful is dismissed from the University. After completing the thesis, the student delivers the copy of the thesis to the advisor. The advisor sends the copy of the thesis to the institute related to the department of science / science through the presidency of the department of science with the opinion stated in writing in accordance with the writing rules of the thesis. Graduation decision is given to the student who completes all the steps without any problems.
