About The Program

The Master's Program in Business Administration with Thesis aims to educate competent individuals who can analyze the changing global competitive conditions, think analytically, establish the relationship between concepts and facts.

It aims to contribute to the production of critical scientific knowledge in areas such as Marketing, Management and Organization, Accounting and Finance, which are the main branches of business. 

The continuity of human productive activity together with the differences created by rapidly changing technological developments in production processes necessitates the continuous development of qualified labor force. With the mission of creating the qualified labor of the business world and supporting the entrepreneurial subject of individual talents, the Master's Program in Business Administration with Thesis is one of the primary choices of those who want to direct their career in this field.

Halic University, Institute of Social Sciences was established in the spring semester of the 2002-2003 academic year.
Second Cycle (Master’s) Degree; Level 7 in National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education in Turkey (NQF-HETR, TYYÇ).
-Graduate Degree.
- All Turkish applicants are required to take either ALES or GRE. Turkish applicants should get at least 55 (EA) from the ALES or its international equivalents, or 1100 from GRE.
-Applicants who does not have 55 (EA) score at ALES or uquivalent, may apply as Special Student. The total number of credit, that special student should take, cannot exceed the 50% of the program's total credits.
-Students from different major should take scientific preparation.
Applicants may apply PHd programmes.

The graduate students in this master program must complete a minimum of 21 local credits (7 courses), a seminar course and a thesis; they must be successful in all of the courses with a minimum achievement grade of CB, must have completed 120 ECTS credits and have scored a minimum GPA of 2.50/4.00 to qualify for graduation.
Business Administration and Organization related fields (Planning, Organization, Human Resources Management, etc.)
The program’s passing mark is calculated from 40% of the total evaluations within the semester and 60% of the final grade.
