Dear Students,
By deciding to pursue a career in medicine, you have taken the first step toward one of the most important choices that will shape the course of your life. The medical profession, associated throughout history with healing and often linked to divine powers, has always been regarded as distinct from other professions. Even in the modern world, physicians are positioned not only as problem-solvers in matters of health but also as respected individuals with rich cultural backgrounds and social attitudes—serving as role models, taking on social responsibilities, and even becoming guiding figures in society.
We are delighted to guide and support you as you undertake the training for this profoundly significant profession under the roof of Haliç University.
The Faculty of Medicine at Haliç University welcomed its first students to the Turkish Medicine Program in the 2017–2018 academic year. In addition, since the 2020–2021 academic year, the Faculty has introduced the English Medicine Program. With its integrated system, the Faculty allows seamless horizontal and vertical transfers between programs, and with its distinguished academic staff and research assistants, it stands as a young and dynamic institution.
Located on the modern 5th Levent Campus, our University brings together all faculties and students under the motto “All in One”, offering a wide variety of educational and research opportunities. Within one of the most well-equipped university complexes in the country, we provide our valued students with an integrated medical education, guided by a multidisciplinary approach, aiming to deliver training at world-class standards.
With this goal in mind, we continue to enrich our faculty with some of the most experienced academics in the country. We are fully committed to making our Faculty one of the most preferred by outstanding students and positioning it among the highest in both national and international rankings.
Our fundamental principle is to graduate physicians who uphold lifelong learning, embrace evidence-based knowledge, and are trained in a contemporary education system that integrates the latest developments into the curriculum. In doing so, we aim to raise doctors who are highly competent, equipped with knowledge, skills, and a profound sense of responsibility.
Finally, on behalf of the academic and administrative staff of Haliç University Faculty of Medicine, I would like to express our genuine pleasure that you have chosen to embark upon every stage of your professional journey with us.
