Haliç Üniversitesi, Bizim Lösemili Çocuklar Vakfı tarafından 2547 sayılı Yükseköğretim Kanununun Vakıf Yükseköğretim Kurumlarına ilişkin hükümlerine tabi olmak üzere 15.01.1998 tarih ve 4324 sayılı kanunla (2809 sayılı Yükseköğretim Kurumları Teşkilat Kanunu Ek Madde 48) kurulan ve kamu tüzelkişiliğine sahip bir vakıf üniversitesidir. 18 Ocak 1998 tarihli Resmi gazetede yayınlanan 14 Ocak 1998 tarih ve 4324 sayılı kanunla kurulan ve bünyesinde Rektörlüğe bağlı olarak, Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi, Tıp Fakültesi, Mühendislik Fakültesi, İşletme Fakültesi, Hemşirelik Yüksekokulu, Su Ürünleri Yüksekokulu, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu, Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü ve Konservatuar yer almış olan Üniversitemiz “23 Kasım 1998” tarihinde eğitim ve öğretime başlamıştır. |

- Diploma received at graduate level. - All applicants are required to take at least 55 from ALES EA score type and also at least 55 from the Foreign Language Examination (YDS) or their international equivalents. Applicants can be accepted as "Special Student" if they do not have these scores or equivalents. In this case, the total number of credits taken by “special students” cannot exceed the 50% of the program's total credits. -Students from different major should take Scientific Preparatory Program. |

| Students who successfully complete PhD in Business Administration can be employed as faculty members at universities. Besides, in public and private undertakings, it is possible to find employment opportunities in the research staff and managerial level. |

Exams; mid-term exam, final exam and make-up exam, written, oral or written, oral and / or practical, as follows. A student who does not take the exams will be considered to have received the exam and have (0) zero. The guidelines for exams are as follows: a) Midterm exam: At least one midterm exam is performed. Teaching staff, homework, project, laboratory / workshop and similar studies can be evaluated as a midterm exam. b) Final exam: Final exam of a course is done at the end of the semester / year. c) Make-up exam: This is an exam made instead of mid-term and final exam. In the same period, students who can not enter the exam due to their just and valid excuses, their excuses, the ones accepted by the institute administration board, they will use the final examination rights according to the reinforcement determined by the relevant board of directors before the following period. |
