Dear Students, Academicians and Administrative Unit Managers,
The Deanery of Student Affairs has been active during the 2024-2025 academic year, functioning as a center of communication and resolution between our students, academic staff and administrative units.
During this period, it has been observed that some of our students have faced challenges and difficulties due to a lack of information on various matters. While part of these challenges stemmed from insufficient communication and information flow within academic units, some were caused by incomplete or untimely explanations provided by certain administrative personnel.
Such shortcomings, along with the ineffective or delayed functioning of communication channels and students’ own lack of follow-up or awareness regarding certain procedures, have unfortunately led to losses in both time and resources.
It is clear that maintaining organized and systematic cooperation between our academic and administrative units will help to minimize such problems. For this reason, we believe it is essential for both academic and administrative divisions to strengthen their communication and coordination with the Deanery of Student Affairs.
In particular, through the implementation of the “Questions and Answers” initiative that we plan to launch, supported by the contribution of academic and administrative units, we aim to provide clear and accessible information to students. We believe this will significantly reduce unnecessary queries directed at university departments and enhance efficiency in communication.
A more systematic operational structure and a reduction in student-related issues can only be achieved through close collaboration among our university’s units. As the Deanery of Student Affairs, I sincerely hope that our continued cooperation will be both productive and beneficial.
