With the philosophy of “The library is the heart of the university,” Haliç University Library takes pride in welcoming thousands of users every day, offering a rich collection in both scope and quality, and upholding the principle of “User satisfaction first.”

Designed to harmonize with the university’s rhythm in the long term, the Haliç University Library operates in a modern space located at the very center of the campus, in Block E.

Our library is charged with supporting the university’s educational and instructional activities and meeting users’ information needs in the most efficient and fastest way possible. With its team of expert librarians who are conscious of their professional responsibilities, the library serves as an active supporter of a contemporary, student-centered education process.

Embracing a system of continuous and structured development, Haliç University Library occupies a 4,100 m² area comprising the general collection area, a 24/7 reading hall, individual study rooms, open study zones, and computer-use spaces, accommodating up to 1,030 users.

Our library provides access to more than 100,000 printed books and over 2 million e-resources subscribed from various disciplines. All users can conveniently access electronic resources through the DeepKnowledge Library Portal without the need for proxy configuration.

We also offer a dedicated workstation designed for visually impaired or low-vision users, as well as a research room reserved for our postgraduate students both of which are always available for use.
