The Applied Education and Internship Coordinatiorship primarily regulates the procedures and principles related to internships, applied courses and vocational training practices carried out by undergraduate programs in various disciplines and associate degree programs during the fall and spring semesters, as specified in the academic calendar, particularly for departments conducting education and training in the field of health.

The Applied Education and Internship Coordinatiorship aims to support students studying in health-related fields, as well as those in other undergraduate and associate degree programs, by contributing to their applied and vocational training conducted both within and outside the university. The goal is to help students develop knowledge, skills, professional behavior and teamwork abilities; gain experience before entering professional life; and improve themselves by putting their theoretical education into practice in real work environments.

The Office is committed to ensuring that all applied training and internship processes are carried out effectively, efficiently and with high quality. Within this framework, some of its main duties include:

Supporting academic units to ensure that applied education and internship procedures are carried out consistently, efficiently and promptly and maintaining coordination among them.

Requesting placement quotas from relevant institutions and organizations.

Cooperating with university units to distribute students across available quotas.

Preparing forms related to applied education and internships and ensuring their publication on the university website.

Preparing, managing and maintaining correspondence for applied education and internship agreements between the University and partner institutions.

Receiving and reviewing applications for non-protocol internship placements, verifying documents and guiding students to make corrections if necessary.

Forwarding approved internship or applied education applications to the relevant academic units for confirmation.

Managing social security processes (SGK) and other official requirements for approved internship placements.
9
Providing continuous support to students throughout their applied training and internship periods.
10
Processing student requests related to the cancellation of internship or applied education periods and coordinating necessary procedures with academic units.

The Applied Education and Internship Coordinatiorship is located in Block 11, 1st Floor.
