Introduction | Quality

Quality assurance activities at Haliç University are carried out with a holistic approach encompassing education, research and development, social contribution and governance. The university’s quality management approach is built upon the principles of participation, transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.

In line with this, the established quality assurance system ensures the regular monitoring of performance in alignment with institutional goals, the effective execution of internal and external evaluation processes and the systematic pursuit of accreditation efforts. Quality activities conducted across all academic and administrative units are supported by data-driven decision-making processes, stakeholder feedback and continuous improvement-oriented practices.

The quality organizational structure at the university is designed as a multi-layered system extending from senior management to the program level. Quality processes are planned, implemented, monitored and improved through the University Quality Commission, the Directorate of Strategy Development and Quality Assurance Systems, working groups, unit quality commissions and program self-evaluation teams. Through this structure, a quality culture is disseminated throughout the institution and made sustainable.

Within the scope of the quality assurance system, performance indicators are regularly monitored, reporting processes primarily the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (KİDR) are carried out and improvement decisions are made based on the results obtained. Stakeholder participation is systematically ensured through surveys, meetings, advisory boards and digital feedback channels.

Haliç University views quality assurance and accreditation processes not merely as evaluation tools, but as fundamental elements of institutional development, shaping all its activities with a philosophy of continuous improvement.
